Construction along Silver Lake Road for the ChoiceOne Bank Trail has been moving steadily through winter weather. The construction team will be replacing underground infrastructure on Silver Lake Road between Marl Drive and Cutler Drive beginning on Monday, March 2nd, 2026. From Monday, March 2nd, 2026, through Friday, March 6th, 2026, Marl Drive will be closed and barricaded at Silver Lake Road with no through traffic. The only entry and exit point to your subdivision will be at Culter and Silver Lake Road. Residents in this neighborhood will be receiving this notice by door hanger today.
Driveway access to the homes on Silver Lake Road between Marl Drive and Cutler Drive may be restricted intermittently throughout the day as crews work to install new sewer underground. If you need to access your driveway while work is being done immediately outside of your home, please seek out the construction crew and they will be able to accommodate you.
The timed stoplight that is located on Silver Lake Road will be moved further west to the intersection at Cutler Drive. Please be mindful when entering or exiting the subdivision to move with the directional flow of traffic.
