Forbush Promoted to Lieutenant
Fenton, MI: At the start of the Fenton City Council meeting, Sgt Daniel Forbush was promoted and sworn in as Lieutenant, effective immediately. Forbush has been with the Fenton Police Department since March 4th, 2002, where he started as a patrolman. In 2020, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Chief Cross believes that Forbush will excel as Lieutenant and Second in Command of the City of Fenton Police Department. During the Council Meeting, newly appointed Lieutenant Forbush was recognized for his hard work and leadership and reaffirmed his Oath of Office as a Command Officer in the presence of City Council, his family, friends, and many off duty officers.
Lieutenant Forbush expressed his thanks and noted how honored and grateful he was for this opportunity. “I’m very thankful to the department. Chief, thank you for your friendship and your leadership. You lead from the front and it doesn’t go unnoticed.” He added a sentiment that he had learned early in his career, “Work Hard. Work Smart. Serve the People Right. Remember these things and we will continue to have the best department out there.”
