A new waste removal program is coming to Fenton beginning on November 1, 2015. Click here for the details.
Republic Waste Services is the name behind commitment assuring the City of Fenton dependable residential waste collection and disposal. Our commitment is to provide residents with quality service according to the highest standard of professionalism. Please call Republic Waste or City Hall immediately for any questions or concerns with your collection. Refuse cans or bags should be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on your collection day. (see map) Your refuse may be placed at the curb using any of three methods: Refuse may be placed in a watertight 32-gallon container with handles, with a City of Fenton refuse tag affixed, or in the green City of Fenton refuse bag. You may place as much as you want at the curb, as long as it is all properly bagged. Please make sure to separate refuse bags and cans several feet away from your recycling bin.
Republic Waste will collect large household items each week along with your regular pickup without additional charge and without any advance call. This service includes such items as carpet (must be rolled and secured for one person handling), water softeners, mattresses and box springs, furniture, and large appliances. Republic Waste will be responsible for removing and recycling Freon appliances.
Unless you are notified otherwise by Republic Waste, there will be no collection on the following six holidays: New Year’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, July 4th, and Christmas Day.
When the holiday falls on a weekday, there will be no collections on that day, and the rest of that week’s refuse collection, including yard waste, will be one day later than usual. If the holiday falls on a weekend, your collection day will not change.
Garbage tags can be purchased at Fenton City Hall, Wal-Mart (3700 Owen Rd), VG's (both Fenton locations), and the Clark gas station (436 N Leroy St) and ACO Hardware (1370 N Leroy St).
