Silver Lake Road Reconstruction Project

• Construction to begin mid April, completion scheduled for November 2008
• Roadway resurfacing west of Poplar St. to MDOT Park and Ride
  • Remove gravel shoulder
  • Add concrete curb
• Reconstruction of roadway east of Poplar Street to N. Leroy
  • Three lane asphalt roadway
  • Concrete curb
• Reconstruct sidewalks on both sides of Silver lake Road and connect to existing sidewalk near US-23
• Mast arm traffic signals at Silver Lake Road intersections with Adelaide and North Leroy
• Decorative street and sidewalk lighting on silver lake Road between Adelaide and North Leroy
• Silver Lake Rd. will be open to west bound traffic during the entire project
• The detour route for eastbound traffic will follow Poplar north to North Rd.
