The Protective Inspection Department is composed of three (3) divisions, Building, Zoning, & Code/Ordinance Enforcement.

"Our goal is to effectively administer the State of Michigan Construction Code and City Ordinances to ensure public health, safety, and welfare within the City of Fenton. At the same time our mission is to go above and beyond by providing assistance to customers in an effort to exceed their expectations."
